JOB SUMMARY:

The Pathways Internship Program provides paid work experience to students who are in high school or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an accredited college or university.

At the successful conclusion of this program, they may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent or term position.

It is important to remember that eligibility for conversion does not guarantee that the agency will decide to opt for conversion.

This vacancy is for a Research Economist Student Trainee position located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland.

This position is in the excepted service.

This is a non-bargaining unit.

This position is ELIGIBLE for telework; additional criteria will be required (e.g., supervisory approval).
